Chris & Desirae Palmer - Senior Pastors
Chris and Desirae were married in June of 2000, the year that Cumberland Worship Center was founded at its current location.
They were married by and served under the founding senior pastor
of CWC, Pastor Linus Vaughn. During this time, they served under Pastor Linus and his wife Karen in various roles within the church body, ranging from developing and overseeing the nursery and preschool ministries, to teaching various classes, being a trustee of the church, as well as facilitating and leading a small group Bible study each week.
In 2007, Pastor Mark DuFrene and his wife Dianna became the senior pastors of CWC. It was during their time serving under Pastor DuFrene that Chris and Desirae became ordained as pastors within the church. They served as youth pastors, which Desirae has
continued doing for the past 14 years, as well as Chris becoming the associate pastor under Dr. DuFrene. Throughout the course of their serving under both previous senior pastors of CWC, Chris and Desirae both worked full time jobs and held careers in the medical field.
They also are parents and raised their two daughters, Kellyn and
Addyson. Since then they have welcomed a granddaughter, Eliana.
In 2014, Chris and Desirae became the senior pastors of CWC. As pastors, their passion and goal in ministry is for the body of Christ to become radically in love with the Word of God and use
that passion in the facilitation of making disciples of others, as the gospel message goes forth in its fullness and truth.

Teresa Weidner - Administrative Pastor
Teresa was the typical PK (preachers kid),
and she has always been involved with ministry in
one way or another. From nursery worker to Sunday School Teacher.
She has been Church Administrator since April 2009, and will probably be the friendly voice on the other end when calling the church. She directs the business and financial operations of the church. Her goal is to free up the Senior Pastor so to allow him to do what God has called him to do. Also, aiding and equipping the staff and volunteers to manage the church ministries effectively. Perceiving her position at Cumberland Worship Center as a ministry rather than a job, Teresa counts it all joy and delights in serving God by serving His people.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!"
Isaiah 52:7
Nancy Myers - Worship Pastor
Ever since she was a young girl, Nancy was raised with a love to sing
and play piano for Jesus. In high school, a pastor’s message about the move
of God in the last days stirred up a passion within her. He had
stated that some people would be for it and some would be against it.
She lifted up a prayer to be for God’s moving, and to be in the center of
what God was doing. God heard and remembered her prayer. She is
thankful to have been part of several different moves and streams of
the Body of Christ.
Her desire is for the glory and presence of God, and to truly “know”
Him in every season. She believes worship is not just something you
do on Sunday, it’s a lifestyle. She loves people, of all ages, and longs
for the Body of Christ to arise with love and freedom to worship in
Spirit and in Truth. She enjoys being with her family, exploring outside
in God’s creation, sipping coffee with friends, and traveling.
Psalm 16:2 & 11 (AMP) 2 I say to the Lord, You are my Lord;
I have no good beside or beyond You… 11 You will show
me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy, at
Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.

Will & Brittany Kerley - Young Adults Directors
Will and Brittany started coming to CWC when they were teenagers, and attended the youth group. After they started attending the youth group, they began to play on the worship team, and soon after that, began to lead the worship team. Will and Britt got married in 2011, and soon after, moved to Virginia, where Will was stationed in the Navy. They currently live in Crossville, where Will works in the tech industry, and Brittany works in the accounting industry.
Jeremiah 9:23-24 (NLT)
This is what the Lord says:
“Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom,
or the powerful boast in their power,
or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast
should boast in this alone:that they truly know me and understand
that I am the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love
and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth,
and that I delight in these things.
I, the Lord, have spoken!

Tabitha Webb - Kidz Pastor
Tabitha moved to Crossville, TN from Florida, December 2009 with
her family. While she was in Florida she taught children's church for
over 5 years. Since 2014 she has worked in Cumberland County
Schools, working with Pre - K through 8th grade students. She has a
heart and passion for children and loves to watch God
work through them.
At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying,
“Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are
converted and become as little children, you will by no means
enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles
himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this
in My name receives Me.
Matthew 18: 1-5
