We Believe In:

God is the one, true, living God. He is creator of all things, perfect in love and righteousness, eternally existent in three persons as God the Father, God the Son, Jesus, and God the Holy Spirit: coequal and coeternal (Gen. 1:26; Is. 9:6; Matt. 3:16, 17; 28:19; Luke 1:35; Heb. 3:7-11; I John 5:7).

Word Of God:
The scripture of the Hebrew Old and Greek New Testament, the Bible, is the final, supreme authority in all matters of faith, conduct and doctrine. It is the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God. (Prov. 30:5; Romans 16:25, 26; II Tim. 3:16; II Peter 1:20, 21).

Jesus Christ:
Jesus Christ, God the Son, born of a virgin, became God in the flesh. He is fully God and fully human. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on a cross to atone for man’s sins through the shedding of His blood. He was raised from the dead on the third day and ascended to the right hand of the Father. He now lives to make intercession for us and will return to earth again in power and glory at the command of the Father. (Is. 9;6, John 1:14, 20:28; Phil 2:5; 3:16).

Virgin Birth:
Jesus Christ, conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary through the power of the Holy Spirit of God, is the Son of God. (Is. 7:14; Matt 1:18, 23-25; Luke 1:27-35).

Man’s Fall, Redemption & Regeneration:
Man was created by God in His image. Adam, the first man, voluntarily transgressed God’s word, sinned, resulting in spiritual, physical and eternal death, or separation from God. (Gen. 1:26-31; 2:17; 3:1-7, 19; 5:2, 3; John 3:14-16; Rom. 5:12-21).

Man is saved by grace through faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God and not the result of good works or any human effort. (Romans 10:9, 10; Acts 16:31; Gal. 2:16; Eph. 2:8, 9; Tit. 3:5; Heb. 9:22).

Jesus Christ Indwells All Believers:
At the moment man repents and trusts in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, Jesus comes to live in him by the Holy Spirit.

Baptism In The Holy Spirit:
Given at Pentecost, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit was sent by God to empower man to preach the gospel of peace and reconciliation with Him to all men. Jesus baptizes the believer in the Holy Spirit, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives him utterance. (Joel 2:28, 29; Matt. 3:11; Mark 16:17; John 14:16,17; Acts 1:5,8; 2:1-4, 17, 38, 39; 4:29, 31; 8:14-17; 10:38, 44-47; 11:15-17; 19:1-6).

The Gifts Of The Holy Spirit:
The Holy Spirit manifests His power in the believer through gifts given to build the body of Christ, sanctify believers, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection and confirm the power of the gospel. (Rom 1:11; 12:4-8; I Cor. 12:1-31; 14:1-40; Eph. 4:16).

Ministry Gifts:
When Jesus ascended, He gave gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip and mature His body, the church. These gifts, the fivefold ministry, operate in the body of Christ today. (Eph. 4:11).

Healing The Sick:
Healing the sick was illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus, was included in His commission to His disciples, provided for in the atonement as a privilege for all believers, given as a sign that is to follow all believers and is a gift of the Holy Spirit. (Psalms 103:2,3; Is. 53: 4,5; Matt. 8:16, 17; Mark 16:17,18; Acts 8:6,7; Rom. 11:29; I Cor. 12:9, 28).

Eternal Destiny:
God created man to know, love and serve Him in this present world and to live with him forever in heaven. Heaven is referred to in scripture as Paradise, the Father’s House, a heavenly country or the City of God. The righteous, those who believe and trust in the death and resurrection of Jesus, are destined to live eternally with God. The unbelieving are destined to receive the wrath of God, the second death and live in hell, eternally separated from God but will have memory, remorse, unsatisfied desire, contempt, vile companionship and hopelessness. (Matt. 25:34; John 14:1-3; Heb. 11:13-16; 2 Peter 3:13; Rev. 21 & 22; Pro. 11:6; Matt. 25:41, 46; Luke 16:19-31; Rev. 20:10-15).
